Reservation Policy

A $100 Non-Refundable Deposit is required to reserve your event date. Once details are finalized, the invoice is sent and payment is due 1-month prior to the event date. Every party & occasion is unique and we are happy to try our best to accommodate your desires and work within your budget.

Our Suggested Guidelines

A display can vary greatly in terms of size and aesthetic. Despite the wide array of sweet options available, we usually suggest a selection of 5 items for a dessert display. You can, in fact, choose several flavor variations of a particular item within those 5 items. We encourage clients to choose a mix of items – including their favorites as well as crowd pleasers. We also recommend between 2-3 dessert pieces per guest. For example, a wedding of 100 guests, we suggest 250 pieces of dessert. Of course, you may choose more servings or less, depending on other factors; such as if you are serving cake and or additional desserts, such as ice cream. ***Gluten Free & Vegan Items are available.

Design & Creative Consulting

We are happy to work with each client to create a custom table that fits their unique taste and style. We will hand select and provide all platters, pedestals, dishes, trays and menu cards to create a cohesive design. Tables and linens are typically provided by the party venue and or rental company. We can provide favors, bags or specialty signage on a custom basis and depending on availability. We are happy to work with you and your party planner to incorporate additional thematic elements, specialty decor and floral arrangements into the dessert display. Fees for table planning & design start at $250.

Delivery & Setup

Clients have options when it comes to both the delivery & set-up of their dessert display. Delivery Only means we will be responsible for the delivery of all desserts to your venue. The venue/catering staff will be responsible for setting up the desserts. Delivery Only Fees start at $50.

Another option is the Delivery + Set-Up. With this option, we will deliver items and then will set-up all inventory rentals as well as all small desserts at the time of delivery. We typically average 1 hour for set up (more could be needed for large dessert tables). If you are hiring us for the design & creative consulting, we will need to set up the display so that we can see the client’s vision through to completion. Delivery + Set-Up Fee starts at $250.

Rentals & Returns

For most dessert tables, the client or planner will agree to be responsible for the safe return of all rental items following the reception. Sweet Melissa Goodness will leave plastic bins, bubble wrap, and inventory list and return instructions so that the client/planner has a safe place to store and transport rentals after the reception. Items must be returned on the agreed upon return date & time. If Sweet Melissa Goodness is needed to return after the reception or the following day or two, then we would charge accordingly for the return break down and pick up. A service charge of 20% of the dessert total will be applied to cover the use of service pieces, rentals & necessary equipment.

Dessert Display Tier Packages

We want to make the process of selecting items for your dessert display as easy as possible. We have come up with 3 Tiers to suit your vision and budget. Please note each TIER is based on 2.5 servings per guest and there is a 2 dozen minimum order per flavor option under each item. The minimum count required for Tier Packages is 75 guests. Each Tier Packaging includes dessert costs only and does not include Design Consulting, Delivery & Set-Up Fees or Rentals. Gluten Free and/or Vegan items are available a la carte.

A La Carte

Clients can also choose our A La Carte option, which allows the ordering of specific items with no minimum guest count required. Each item requires a minimum order quantity of 2 dozen per flavor. 1 dozen increments can be ordered after the minimum is met. Don’t see a specific item? Please email us – we can typically accommodate any request.

TIER 1 Items are $30/Dozen, TIER 2 Items are $40/Dozen & TIER 3 Items are $50/Dozen.

Hosting a brunch at home? Let us help you make it extra special. Each LUXE Brunch Box is filled with a gorgeous array of both sweet & savory pastries, quiches, crudité w/ accompanying house made dips & spreads, charcuterie & scratch-made crackers, fresh fruit, decadent dessert bites & more! All you have to do is brew the coffee & pour the bubbles!

Boxes can be tailored to fit your individual tastes & theme. Serves 10-12.

Grazing Tables
